Rating Every New NBA City Jersey Pt.1
Here are my thoughts on the new NBA City Jerseys Pt.1
Atlanta Hawks
Grade: B+
This jersey is not the best. Though I think it is decent, there can be some improvements made. This jersey is one of the best NBA city jerseys in my opinion though.
Boston Celtics
Grade: A-
I like the Celtics new NBA city jersey. Though it isn’t better than last year, I think it is a good one.
Brooklyn Nets
Grade: D
The Nets city jerseys are trash. I don’t like them at all. There can be a lot more improvements made, and this jersey is one of the worst ones we’ve seen in recent years.
Charlotte Hornets
Grade: A
The new Hornets jersey is amazing! I love the colors and think this jersey is one of the best we’ve seen in a while.
Chicago Bulls
Grade: B
This jersey isn’t the worst, but not the best. I think this jersey can use some improvements, but overall it is a good jersey.
Cleveland Cavaliers
Grade: A-
I like that the Cavs brought back “The Land” on their city jersey this year. This jersey is a good one.
Dallas Mavericks
Grade: B+
This jersey is good. Though the jersey would look better in green or some other colors, it is very decent. I love the font used on this jersey, and like it a lot.
Denver Nuggets
Grade: C
I am not the biggest fan of the Nuggets newest jersey. It can use many improvements and maybe a different font. The Nuggets always use this font on their jerseys, and though it is okay, they should take a break and use a different one for once.
Detroit Pistons
Grade: A
I think the Pistons did a great job with their jersey. I like how it is inspired by the Bad Boys and I think the font is good.
Golden State Warriors
Grade: C+
The Warriors didn’t do a bad job here. I like the San Francisco on the front, but think it should be more in the middle. It doesn’t look the best when it is in different directions.
Houston Rockets
Grade: B
The Rockets jersey is kind of plain. I think it could use more details, but I like the H-Town on the front.
Indiana Pacers
Grade: C
I don’t like the Pacers jersey. It is one of the worst ones we’ve seen this year. I think Indiana could’ve done a much better job.
Los Angeles Clippers
Grade: C
I like the font, but the jersey is plain. The Clippers should’ve added pinstripes on the uniform. It could use more details.
Los Angeles Lakers
Grade: A
I love this jersey. It is the best California city jersey so far, and I love how the Lakers paid tribute to their old triangle word mark that they used in the 60s.
Memphis Grizzlies
Grade: F
The Grizzlies new city jersey is terrible. This one is the worst out of any NBA team. I don’t like how there isn’t much detail. This one definitely needs improvement.
(I found these jerseys from sportslogos.net, these are the official leaked NBA city jerseys. Though we won’t know if these are officially right until November 2nd, some were leaked and we know for sure that some of them are the official ones.)
